Artist Reception: The Long Walk Home

The Long Walk Home — Finding My Place in Nature is a photographic journey through the landscapes and wildlife that have shaped my connection with the natural world. These photographs are less a record of places visited than notes from a personal journey—moments of beauty, solitude, surprise, and connection gathered along the way. From quiet landscapes to intimate encounters with wildlife, each image reflects an effort to slow down, look more closely, and understand my place within the larger community of living things.

MEET THE PRESENTER

Jerry Flynn

Jerry Flynn is a nature and wildlife photographer whose work explores the connection between people, wildlife, and the landscapes we share. Based in Pennsylvania, he photographs throughout the Mid-Atlantic and beyond, with a particular connection to New Jersey’s Abbott Marshlands. His work has been exhibited in regional galleries and recognized in juried photography exhibitions. Jerry organizes the Abbott Marshlands Photography Club, where he promotes thoughtful, ethical nature photography and the idea that photography can inspire a deeper appreciation and stewardship of the natural world.
